Olympic National Park
The only places pets are allowed in the Olympic National Park are:

Peabody Creek Trail (Olympic National Park Visitor Center in Port Angeles)

Rialto Beach parking lot to Ellen Creek (1/2 mile)

The beaches (Kalaloch area) between the Hoh and Quinault Reservations

Madison Falls Trail (Elwha)

Spruce Railroad Trail (North shore of Lake Crescent)

July Creek Loop Trail (North shore of Lake Quinault)
Note: Pets are welcome in drive in campgrounds and picnic areas as well as paved or dirt roads.
Olympic National Forest
Note: Olympic National Forest is different than Olympic National Park, please be mindful of park boundaries since some trails run through both areas.
The Olympic National Forest has so many options for you and your furry friends. Pets are permitted on most trails, but we still recommend checking
to make sure the hike you are ready to explore is pet friendly.

Pets are allowed in most Washington State Parks,
but before heading out we
recommend checking
to see if the park you are interested in is pet friendly.
Beaches
Washington State Beaches are great places for your furry friends, just be aware that some of the Pacific Coast Beaches are part of the Olympic National Park which restricts pets to certain areas.
Note: Dogs are not allowed in designated swimming areas.
